United Way of Rhode Island is accepting “United is the Way” sponsorship applications for the current fiscal year.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis at the beginning of each month. We encourage organizations to submit requests as early as possible — ideally up to six months in advance of their event — to allow adequate time for review and planning.
More support for nonprofits
United Way’s Alliance for Nonprofit Impact offers technical assistance to help organizations adapt and sustain operations, including scenario and strategic planning, revenue generation and grant writing, and strategic partnerships and staffing models. The Lawyers’ Committee for Rhode Island also offers free legal assistance — trainings, open office hours with attorneys, and one-on-one consultations.
