Get Behind WhatYou Care About
Systemic inequities are the root causes of intergenerational poverty. Advocacy is how we change them.
Why advocacy matters
Despite broad support of communities in need, progress has been hampered by systemic inequities. Equity — particularly racial equity — needs to be at the forefront of decisions in municipal, state, and federal policy. Investments in Rhode Island’s most critical areas of need, such as housing and education, have seen reductions over the years rather than growth in line with demand.
